The CMC festival, the largest festival of local pop and party music, is bringing the biggest names of the regional music scene to Vodice again this summer.
Vodice Tourist Board is organizing a picnic in Rakitnica for all citizens and guests of Vodice. The picnic is held by the church of St. John, with participation of the music ensemble and the Cultural Association Vodiške perlice, which will show the traditional customs of preparing wild greens and polenta. At 11:15 a guided walking tour starts from the picnic location to the Liburnian-Roman site on Velika Mrdakovica. The picnic starts at 10:00 with transportation from the Vodice bus station organized for all visitors from 8:30, every half hour.
The traditional Easter Breakfast will be held on Easter Monday in Vodice on Kneza Branimira Square starting at 9:45 am. In addition to the festive table that will offer visitors local specialties, an entertainment program and a fair of local products have been prepared.
On Friday, January 23, the Vodice Center for Art and Culture will host Kerekeš Teatar with the award-winning hit play IVA AND GLORIA, which has been continuously filling theaters across the country since its premiere in March last year. The witty script was written by the actresses themselves – Gloria Dubelj and Iva Šimić Šakoronja – and the play was directed by Jan Kerekeš.
Ticket price: €8; €4 for students and pensioners; tickets can also be claimed with a Theatre Friend 2026 card (valid ID required).
Box office opening hours: Monday and Thursday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM; Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
From 7:00 PM (one hour before the play), only regular-price tickets (€8) will be available for purchase. Discounted ticket purchases and ticket claims using the Theatre Friend card are not possible during that time.
The Vodiški Piketaši invite you, on behalf of their parent hiking club HPK Sveti Mihovil from Šibenik, to join the traditional Advent Night Hike on December 21, 2025.
As in previous years, our goal is to bid farewell to the old year with a night walk through the hills of the Vodiško hinterland. This year, we will gather at the cemetery parking lot in Vodice. The hike starts at 4:00 PM. We are meeting a bit earlier this year so that we can transition from day to night along the trail.
After the hike, we will socialize with sausages and drinks in front of Konoba Draži, and afterward, everyone can enjoy the Advent festivities in the park.
The Croatian Cultural and Artistic Society Tribunj, under the professional guidance of Prof. Ivan Korunić, and their mandolin orchestra, accompanied by the distinctive voice of Mile Perkov, will offer an evening full of music you must not miss.

Vodice will soon shine again in its most magnificent festive attire! From December 12, 2025, to January 3, 2026, the town will become the center of holiday magic and joy – the Vodice Tourist Board and the City of Vodice are once again organizing Advent in Vodice.
Over the years, this event has grown into a favorite gathering place during the holidays, bringing together many locals and visitors who come to enjoy the warm, cheerful, and colorful Advent atmosphere. Everything takes place in the beautiful setting of the town park on Knez Branimir Square, which will once again sparkle this winter with thousands of lights and festive decorations.
The cultural association Vodiške Perlice is working diligently to preserve Vodice's traditions. On St. Lucy’s Day, they will present folk customs and show how this holiday was once celebrated in the homes of Vodice.

The legendary offshore regatta takes yachtsmen along 110 miles enduring route Vodice - Jabuka - Vodice. The regatta is famous for the night start and mystical Jabuka, with characteristic strong wind and a long and exhausting race.

The Center for Arts and Culture hosts Theatre Moruzgva with its new hit comedy PARASITIC BUSINESS, written by Filip Jurjević and Vanja Jovanović, who also directed the play.

The Center for Arts and Culture Vodice presents the unforgettable Women’s Choir Bulbuli, which for three decades has left its mark on Croatia’s cultural landscape, remaining dedicated to preserving sevdalinka while also building new bridges of community.
Sevdalinka sings of love filled with suffering, pain, longing, and desire. It rarely speaks of happy love, but also tells of life, of love for beloved people, mother, wife, man, or of a certain event. It carries philosophy, a message, and metaphorical meaning. Sevdalinka is best performed by those born in Bosnia, as it is inherent in them from birth. It is refined, gentle, never vulgar, with special respect for women and mothers.
At the City Library of Vodice, on Thursday, October 30, a monograph dedicated to our distinctive and talented artist Mile Mićin will be presented, along with an exhibition of his works.
Mićin’s creativity is deeply woven into the cultural identity of Vodice, and this publication offers an overview of his rich artistic legacy.
The event is organized by the Art Association More, under the patronage of the City of Vodice and in partnership with the City Library of Vodice.
October is reserved for the traditional recreational mountain bike marathon in memory of cyclist Gabriel Skocic and his friends firefighters who courageously and tragically died on the island of Kornat in 2007. Marathon is driven along cycling paths nearby Vodice.
