BLUE TREATMENT – getting in touch with water, it takes place at the beach or by the sea where you have easy access

  • Bring a bottle of water and make sure to stay hydrated.
  • Turn off your mobile phone to eliminate all distractions or avoid taking it with you altogether.
  • Approach the sea.
  • Inhale deeply through the nose and exhale through the mouth, focus on breathing while trying to feel the healing aerosols from the sea fill your lungs and entire body.
  • Then shift your thoughts towards the feet and feel the ground and pebbles beneath.
  • Calmly step into the water, fully relaxed... Feel the seawater on your feet and consciously wade through as it reaches somewhere up to your ankles or calves. Then imagine the freshness of the sea permeating your entire body, from the feet to the upper leg, spreading all over the torso, through the arms and neck, and towards the top of your head. Imagine your whole body being filled with the freshness of the sea. Listen to the murmur of the sea and waves, be present. Take as much time as you like.
  • Slowly get out of the sea, drink your bottled water and then inhale and exhale a few times.

Also, did you know that everything we do with our feet reflects on the body, according to the rules of reflexotherapy. In other words, this entire, seemingly simple, treatment will affect your whole body and make you feel better, revitalised and refreshed.



GREEN TREATMENT – getting in touch with nature, green vegetation and the forest, since it takes place in a pine forest, near trees by the sea or even in olive groves

  • Bring a bottle of water and make sure to stay hydrated.
  • Turn off your mobile phone to eliminate all distractions or avoid taking it with you altogether.
  • Find a quiet spot in the pine forest or look for any trees as long as you do not mind the presence of other people.
  • Inhale deeply through the nose and exhale through the mouth, focus on breathing while trying to feel the healing aerosols from the sea and the therapeutic scents from the forest and plants fill your lungs and entire body.
  • Then concentrate on the trees, greenery, nature and pick a tree.
  • Calmly embrace the tree, fully relaxed... Shift your thoughts towards your body by feeling the feet first, followed by the shins, knees, torso, hands, neck and head. Then feel and become aware of the embrace while imagining how all your stress and tension are contained within the tree bark as you cleanse yourself and feel relieved.
  • Slowly step away from the tree, have a light stretch and drink some water, then inhale and exhale a few times.

The best trees for this exercise are pine, cedar, oak, and olive, etc. This simple relaxation technique will help you relieve stress and tension and will provide a fresh energy boost. It is derived from dendrotherapy which means “healing with trees”. Japanese scientists also recommend “bathing” in the forest air which is rich in medicinal essential oils that are emitted by the trees. Try it – it is fun, beneficial and a nice way to enhance your holiday.
