Ingredients:
- 5 whole eggs
- 4 egg yolks
- 1 tablespoon fat
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 dcl maraština (sweet wine / prosecco)
- 1 kg flour
- 1.5 l frying oil
Eggs, yolks, fat and salt should be made by hand or mixer into a uniform mixture. Add salt, maraština and flour and knead a dough. Let it rest for half an hour at room temperature. Spread the dough flat (2 mm), cut it into strips 2 cm wide. Thread the straps in a bow shape and fry in deep oil on both sides until golden. When chilled, pour powdered sugar on kroštule.
