This unique event takes place once a year in September.

This gastronomic event, called the Cod Fish Festival, enriches the Advent offerings of the town of Vodice and takes place on Christmas Eve, December 24th, in the morning hours.
The traditional holiday table wouldn't be complete without cod, prepared according to a recipe passed down from generation to generation.
This festival is not only an opportunity to enjoy a traditional dish, but also to socialize, enjoy music, and preserve cultural heritage.

On May 1, Vodice Tourist Board organizes picnic in Rakitnica by the Curch of St. John. This event is a nice gathering of citizens and guests with klapa singing and preparation of old dishes: wild greens and corn meal. Also, visitors can take a free guided walking tour to the archaeological site Arauzona.

The "Taste like... Marenda" project is a gastro-cultural initiative that aims to showcase and promote the traditional Croatian "marenda" (a light lunch or snack). It focuses on local ingredients, preparation methods, and specific regional specialties.

The project's core concept revolves around presenting local food and beverages in a festive and engaging manner. It often includes events like markets, festivals, and themed gatherings where locals and tourists can enjoy a variety of traditional marendas, accompanied by local wines and other beverages.

The Olive Oil Fest is an event where olive growers and oil producers exhibit and promote their products. It is held on August 20. All visitors have the opportunity to taste indigenous olive oil from domestic producers.
