Aktivna Hrvatska, one of the longest-running national programs promoting healthy living and physical activity, is coming back to Vodice – a city proud of its active and sporty spirit.
The training is organized in cooperation with the City of Vodice and the Vodice Tourist Board.
The traditional public workout will take place at Trg Hrvatskih Mučenika on Saturday, May 24th, starting at 6:00 PM.
A large number of participants of all ages is expected to join together in a powerful message about the importance of movement and taking care of our health.

The Bokon Youth Association from Vodice is organizing the first-ever skate competition in Vodice – "Bokon Jam"! To celebrate the first event in the new skatepark, they are bringing the best of Croatian skateboarding. The competition features three different disciplines, along with a skate market showcasing local skate brands, as well as the Bokon bar and a rich gastronomic offer.
The Tourist Board of Vodice and the City of Vodice are delighted to announce Advent in Vodice 2024, which will take place at Trg kneza Branimira. The program begins on December 13th, and visitors can enjoy a rich lineup of performances by renowned artists such as Jole, Željko Bebek, Magazin, Tomislav Bralić and Klapa Intrade, Fenix, The Expendables, and many others.
Amidst the festive atmosphere, visitors can savor a variety of food offerings at the stands, including the traditional cod feast and a barbecue. The program will also feature other events, such as DJ performances, creative workshops for children, and fun competitions. See you there!
The legendary offshore regatta takes yachtsmen along 110 miles enduring route Vodice - Jabuka - Vodice. The regatta is famous for the night start and mystical Jabuka, with characteristic strong wind and a long and exhausting race.

October is reserved for the traditional recreational mountain bike marathon in memory of cyclist Gabriel Skocic and his friends firefighters who courageously and tragically died on the island of Kornat in 2007. Marathon is driven along cycling paths nearby Vodice.

The Mountain Biking Club "Orlov Krug" is organizing the cycling event "WITH HEART AGAINST STEEL," which will follow the route Vodice - Okit - Zaton - Šibenik Bridge - Vodice. All cycling enthusiasts are invited to join this recreational ride, marking the 33rd anniversary of the successful defense of Vodice. The ride starts at Trg hrvatskih mučenika (by the post office) on September 16 at 4:00 PM.

The city of Vodice will once again host the traditional 22nd international handball tournament for veterans, "Memorial Ante Mihić-Bogde," which will be held from September 13 to 14, 2024. This sporting event brings together handball enthusiasts from Croatia and the wider region and aims to preserve the memory of the late member of the handball community Ante Mihić Bogde, as well as Ratko Latin, Engels Alfirev, and Mirko Šprljan.
The original "Trip to the history of Vodice" will take you on a journey through our vineyards and olive groves, where you will learn more about our cultural heritage and origins. This regatta was named after the skill of sailing with a Latin sail - burtižanje. Sailors and tradition admirers will meet again in Šepurine on island Prvić. In a friendly atmosphere, they will race in their leuts, gajetas, batanas and other traditional boats. Festivitiy will last all day.
