During the month of May, there are many events that mark the City of Vodice Day, which is on May 3rd.
Vodice Tourist Board is organizing a picnic in Rakitnica for all citizens and guests of Vodice. The picnic is held by the church of St. John, with participation of the music ensemble and the Cultural Association Vodiške perlice, which will show the traditional customs of preparing wild greens and polenta. At 11:15 a guided walking tour starts from the picnic location to the Liburnian-Roman site on Velika Mrdakovica. The picnic starts at 10:00 with transportation from the Vodice bus station organized for all visitors from 9:30, every half hour.
The original "Trip to the history of Vodice" will take you on a journey through our vineyards and olive groves, where you will learn more about our cultural heritage and origins. The trip includes bike and helmet rental, tasting at Birin Winery and insurance, all completely free! Groups are limited to 12 participants, so book your date on time at Karika Vodice.

LAG "More 249" is joining the big environmental project Resolution Earth organized by Večernji list in cooperation with associations and partners from Croatia. The big finale of this project is expected on the occasion of Earth Day, April 22, 2023, when numerous individuals in our country will roll up their sleeves and contribute to making their region cleaner and more beautiful. LAG "More 249" on that day, with the support of Vodice scouts, organizes a clean-up action in Srima behind Hotel Duje, a coastal area where a large amount of various waste that does not belong to nature has been observed.
The exhibition "Treasures of the Adriatic Sea" will offer visitors an exclusive opportunity to see shells, snails, crabs, sponges and corals from the Adriatic sea in one place. The exhibition was designed by Podmorko d.o.o. which, in cooperation with Vodice Tourist Board, will present the most attractive shells of Adriatic shells and snails, shells of crabs, skeletons of sponges and corals. All exhibits will be placed in the unusual environment of a MAN bus, which has been given a completely new function for this occasion. Take advantage of this unique opportunity - see the different types of marine organisms that can be found in the Adriatic sea, and learn more about their life habits and importance for the ecosystem.
