Selection of the 66th Festival of Croatian Amateur Theatres
On Saturday, March 28, the showcase of amateur theatre performances of the Šibenik-Knin County will be held at the Cultural Centre Vodice, as part of the selection process for entry into the competitive programme of the 66th Festival of Croatian Amateur Theatres.
This year, three performances are in competition: Draga Ulija – Love Letters from the Island by the Amateur Drama Group of the Vodice Centre for Arts and Culture; Šibenik Story by the Cultural Association Šibenske Promenade; and Šijun, performed by the Krešimir’s City Pensioners’ Association.
The performances will be watched and evaluated by the selector of the Croatian Assembly of Culture, Tamara Šoletić, a distinguished theatre and television actress, reciter and puppeteer.
The 66th Festival of Croatian Amateur Theatres will once again take place at the Cultural Centre Vodice during the second and third weekends of May. The festival is organised by the Croatian Assembly of Culture and the Vodice Centre for Arts and Culture, with financial support from the Ministry of Culture and Media, the City of Vodice, the Šibenik-Knin County, the Vodice Tourist Board and the Association of Cultural and Artistic Societies of the Šibenik-Knin County.

• 14:00 – Amateur Drama Group of the Vodice Centre for Arts and Culture – DRAGA ULIJA – Love Letters from the Island
• 16:30 – Cultural Association Šibenske Promenade – ŠIBENIK STORY
• 19:00 – Krešimir’s City Pensioners’ Association “Drama Group” – ŠIJUN
Admission to all performances is free.
