The city of Vodice will once again host the traditional 22nd international handball tournament for veterans, "Memorial Ante Mihić-Bogde," which will be held from September 13 to 14, 2024. This sporting event brings together handball enthusiasts from Croatia and the wider region and aims to preserve the memory of the late member of the handball community Ante Mihić Bogde, as well as Ratko Latin, Engels Alfirev, and Mirko Šprljan.

Tournament Program:

• September 13, 2024 - On Friday morning, starting at 09:30, participants will gather at the Vodice City Cemetery to pay tribute to the deceased members of the handball community. Afterward, the program will continue at the covered playground of the Vodice Elementary School "Balon," where accreditation distribution and team registration will resume at 10:00 a.m., followed by the start of group matches later in the morning. The official opening of the tournament is scheduled for 17:30, after which the competition will continue. Throughout the day, participants and visitors will be able to enjoy food and drinks in the tent on the playground.

• September 14, 2024 - The competition continues on Saturday morning with the final group matches, followed by the playoffs for medals in the late afternoon. The closing ceremony of the tournament is scheduled for 21:00 at Hotel Imperial, where a formal dinner will be held, along with the awarding of medals and trophies to the best teams.
