Koncert - Songkillers
The legendary Croatian funk band, led by Željko Banić – Banet, has over 30 years of discographic and concert activity behind them. Their funky is at the very top of pop palatability, and it is evident that with constant work and a current sound, Banet can certainly keep up with the times and that he maintains his compositional fitness brilliantly.
The first affirmations of the frontman of the Songkillers group, Željko Banić – Banet, occurred in the early 80s in the groups “Pod Room Blues Band” and “Zvijezde”, and in the 90s the first line-up of Songkillers was assembled. Long-term cooperation and friendship with Dino Dvornik and the recording of one of the best live albums in this region, “Live in Munich”, made Songkillers an original band and in September 1997 they released their first independent album “Fleka”. The first hit and single “Ni'ko kao ti” was released in July 1997 and the song reached the first place on the HTV show Hit Depo, and at the same time on all the top charts of Croatian radio stations. This was followed by the second single "Ne znam gdje sam" which appeared on the soundtrack of the film "Mondo Bobo" by Goran Rušinović.
Songillers regularly remind the audience at concerts of the highlights of their career such as "Malo toga ostaje", "Medena", "Mislima", "Ne znam gdje sam", "Nema vremena", "Ni'ko kao ti", "Dao sam ti sve", "Egoist", "Još se ne dam", "Ljetna kiša", "Sreća", "Sve si uzela", "Tako volim što te znam", "Ti i ja", "Dio mene" and many others. During more than thirty years of successful career, they have gained a lot of fans and the status of the biggest Croatian funk band.
Behind them are six studio albums, many singles, great musical collaborations and they are still creating new songs and sound best when they sing about love.
