This year, again, organized by the Vodice City Library, the Vodice Center for Art and Culture and the Department of Philosophy of the University of Zadar, and in partnership with the City of Vodice and the Vodice Tourist Board, a scientific colloquium dedicated to Ivo Brešan will be held on Wednesday, May 27th, starting at 10 am, in the premises of the Vodice City Library.

Ivo Brešan, born in Vodice, was one of the most prolific, most accomplished and most significant contemporary Croatian playwrights, novelists and screenwriters of European rank, best known for his sharp political satires and tragic grotesques, and at this year's scientific colloquium we will deal with the topic of Brešan today and the echoes of his work.
