The Festival of Croatian Amateur Theatre (FHKA) is an annual showcase of the best amateur theatre and drama groups. Its mission is to promote and develop amateur theatre in Croatia and to develop audiences through the presentation of the highest-quality annual achievements of amateur theatres and associations operating in Croatia and abroad (associations of Croats outside the Republic of Croatia), covering all theatrical poetics – from classical and folk to dance, alternative and non-verbal theatre, as well as all existing forms of theatrical expression.
The festival program will offer excellent performances of various poetics, genres and styles, and an important segment of the FHKA program are also round tables led by the committee members Nina Kleflin, Petra Kurtela and Boris Kovačević, who will discuss the performances with participants for evaluation and additional education.
